PROJECT QUESTIONS
Before we start.
What should I send for an RFQ?
Send 2D / 3D drawings or start with physical samples. Include resin or BOM if available, target finish and quantities. Contact Tao to arrange sample delivery. For finished plastic goods, include packaging requirements and any partner-supplied component needs.
Can we arrange an NDA?
NDA terms can be agreed before sharing confidential project files.
Who owns the mold?
Tooling ownership, storage, maintenance and transfer terms are agreed case by case in the project quotation or agreement.
Can you supply housings and finished plastic goods?
Yes. We review custom plastic housings and finished plastic goods, including storage cases, organizers, boxes and plastic key shells. Pure plastic products can run in-house through tooling, injection, finishing and packaging. If you are unsure whether we fit, send drawings or physical samples and ask — we’ll review feasibility with you.
What if the product needs electronics or motors?
We make the housings in-house and coordinate full delivery with qualified partners when electronics, motors or assembly are required. Send your brief; we will review feasibility, component responsibilities and delivery scope together.
Can I visit or arrange a video audit?
Factory visits and video audits are welcome. Contact Tao to arrange a time and discuss what you would like to review.
How do order size and lead times work?
Small trials and larger runs are both welcome. Pricing follows volume, tooling and finish. Sample lead time is typically about 7 days; regular production is typically about 5 days after approval. These are typical guides. New tooling and project-specific schedules are agreed in the quotation.
